Sighthill fire: Watch the moment smoke billows from Parkhead View shed as fire service attend

Huge plumes of smoke were seen rising into the sky after a shed caught fire in Edinburgh.

In a video clip from the scene, smoke is seen rising from the rear garden of a house on Parkhead View.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.26am on Sunday, May 2 to reports of a shed alight in a rear garden of a property on Parkhead View.

“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to extinguish the fire.

“There were no casualties.”
