Soldier lines up Wright run

A FORMER soldier is preparing for a gruelling two-month challenge to raise funds for charity.

Mark Gordon, 39, from Livingston, is set to run ten kilometres every day for 50 days in aid of the Dalkeith-based Mark Wright Project.

Mark, a former soldier in the 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment, said: “I’m going to start on September 26 and the 50 days will take me up to the middle of November, so I hope to be finished before the worst of the cold weather.”
