St John’s is ‘listening’

LESSONS learned from last year’s patient survey have led to improvements at a Lothians hospital, bosses have said.

In 2010, St John’s Hospital in Livingston had a number of issues highlighted in a patient questionnaire.

As a result, this year’s initiative rendered far better results, NHS Lothian said. Associate nurse director Pat Dawson said: “The results for St John’s are very encouraging, particularly those which show we are above the national average.”
