Susan Boyle gives up chocolate for Lent
The Britain’s Got Talent star, from Blackburn in West Lothian, will be resisting the sweet treat to raise awareness of a charity.

Hide AdShe’s backing the Scottish International Aid Fund’s Wee Box appeal, which was set up to help some of the poorest families across the world.
Others who have signed up for this year’s appeal including Muirhouse born Scotland manager Gordon Strachan, Commonwealth Games boxer Charlie Flynn and Deacon Blue frontman Ricky Ross.
SuBo said: “I have been supporting SCIAF all my life because I know they help the poorest of the poor to have food and support themselves.

SuBo shot to fame in 2009 when she finished as runner-up in Britain’s Got Talent.
