Teen victim of sex attack

A SCHOOLBOY was subjected to a sex attack near a country park, a court heard.

The 14-year-old became separated from pals in Polkemmet Country Park, West Lothian.

While he was walking alone in a field he was attacked by Stuart Sinclair, 17, a court heard.

Sinclair, of Whitburn, pleaded guilty on indictment to sexually assaulting the teenager in a field near the M8 on April 1 this year. Sheriff Gregor Murray called for background reports and deferred sentence until February 2. He ordered Sinclair’s name to be put on the sex offenders register.
