Three charged after Saturday night disturbance in Edinburgh's George Street
Three people have been charged after a disturbance in Edinburgh city centre on Saturday night.
Police said they were called to reports of trouble in George Street at around 10.30pm on February 28.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with an assault and two male youths were also charged in connection with the disturbance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30pm on Saturday, 28 February, 2026, we received a report of a disturbance on George Street, Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with assault. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Two male youths were also charged in connection with the disturbance. They will be reported to the relevant authorities.”
