Top honour for site boss

A SITE manager who oversaw construction of a development on the former site of Telford College has won a prestigious building award.

Scott Brown, 43, received the gong for his work on the Miller Homes’ Varcity development at the NHBC Pride of Job Awards in Glasgow last Friday. He will now progress to the Supreme Gala event in London where the five overall UK winners will be announced.

Mr Brown said it was a “great honour”.
