Toy appeal brings joy

MORE than 1200 underprivileged children will receive gifts on the back of a bumper response to this year’s West Lothian toy
appeal.

The appeal has been labelled one of the best yet, with three times as many toys donated compared to last year.

Families targeted under the initiative are those in West Lothian which are either socially or financially disadvantaged.

Charity River Kids managed the appeal, which was started in 1984 and has provided toys for more than 42,000 children since its inception.
