Car crashes in West Lothian

A DRIVER has been cut free from a car after a crash on the A904 in West Lothian.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to the scene of a collision at 6.45pm, one mile outside of Newton.

They received a report of a car colliding with a lampost.

A spokeswoman for the service said: “Crews attended, removed the roof and the diver was taken from the vehicle and taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.”

Crews left the scene just before 7.40pm.
