Edinburgh traffic and travel: Delays approaching Queensferry Crossing

Here is latest traffic and travel in and around the Capital this morning.

Drivers are seeing clear running in most of the capital this morning with only minor delays around the Queensferry Crossing.

Traffic Scotland said traffic is "busy but moving" on the southbound approach to the Queensferry Crossing.

At 7am there is also congestion westbound on the bypass at Sheriffhall and eastbound into the works at Junction 4 on the M8.

There is also congestion at the A90 into Barnton.

There are no major delays on the railways with minor disruption affecting routes into Motherwell from Dalmuir for those commuting through the central belt.
