Edinburgh traffic: Car goes under lorry on Princes St

AN accident between a car and a lorry blocked Princes Street at the West End earlier today.

A witness said it looked as if the car had gone under the lorry.

The accident happened at the junction of Princes Street and South Charlotte Street.

All lanes have now been cleared, although Shandwick Pl and Lothian Rd are reported to be very busy towards West End.

Police said the accident was reported to them at 12.26pm.

A spokeswoman said no-one had been injured.
