West Lothian motorists face diversion after serious crash closes part of A904 road

Motorists in West Lothian travelling east towards the Queensferry Crossing are facing a diversion this afternoon following a serious crash.

In a statement posted on social media, police said: "The #A904 is closed between #NewtonVillage and the #B8046 near junction 2 of the #M9 due to an accident.

"This may cause issues for vehicles heading East on the M9 for the Forth Crossing."
