Woman hospitalised after collision with bus

A 23-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after an accident involving a bus in the city centre today.

Police said the woman, who was a pedestrian, was in collision with the bus at the top of The Mound at around 9.10am.

She was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, but her injuries were said to be minor.

The road was closed for a while and traffic diverted down Market Street.
