Train student faces the facts
UNIVERSITY bosses have taken action against a student thrown off a train by a fellow passenger, it was reported today.
Sam Main, 19, was pulled out of his seat and thrown off a train in Linlithgow by 35-year-old Alan Pollock following a dispute with a conductor over an invalid ticket.
A spokesman for Heriot-Watt University said Mr Main would be continuing his studies but added: “We can confirm that appropriate action into his conduct has been taken.”
Earlier this week it emerged that neither men would be prosecuted.
