Contraflow on M8 during resurfacing
That section of the motorway is used daily by around 64,000 vehicles, with a £700,000 investment by Transport Scotland seeing 2.2 kilometres resurfaced.
Work will take place from 8pm tomorrow and is due to be completed by August 14. A contraflow traffic management system will be in operation as well as a 40mph speed limit.

Hide AdAndy Thompson, engineer with BEAR Scotland, said: “When complete the works will benefit road users with a smoother, safer drive. These works are being carried out predominately overnight and during the weekend period to minimise delays to motorists.
“We would, however, encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance, where possible.
