Crashes cause delays on Edinburgh roads as Storm Dennis brings commuter chaos

Tailbacks reported on main routes in and out of Capital

DRIVERS in and out of the Capital are facing delays on the roads this morning as Storm Dennis wreaks havoc.

There were reports of smashes on the A720 and M9 - with traffic also backed up over the Queensferry Crossing and M8.

A yellow warning is in place today with high winds and rain forecast.

Traffic Scotland reported delays

Traffic Scotland reported congestion on the M90 from junction two.

On the A720 at Baberton-Calder, a lane was closed after a crash.

There were also tailbacks on the M8 at junction three and junction two of the M9 with reports of another collision.
