Cyclist taken to hospital after Dundas Street crash

A cyclist has been taken to hospital by paramedics after a crash involving a parked car at 7:15am.

Dundas Street was partially blocked to traffic in both directions as emergency services attended the scene.

Police confirmed that the cyclist was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Traffic remains slow on the New Town road, according to Edinburgh Travel News – a site run by Edinburgh City Council.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.15am on Tuesday, 24 November, 2020, police were called to a report of a cyclist having collided with a parked car in Dundas Street, Edinburgh.

"Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
