East Lothian police catch driver speeding at nearly 100mph on busy main road
Police in East Lothian have caught a driver speeding at nearly 100mph on a busy main road.
Yesterday (Thurs) morning, Local Road Policing officers conducted a static Pro Laster speed check on the A1 at Gladsmuir.
A 31-year-old female was recorded driving at speeds of 95mph and was charged with the relevant Road Traffic legislation. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A 21-year-old male was also charged with speeding in his vehicle at 96mph on the same stretch of road last week.
