East Lothian police catch speeding drivers on these roads

East Lothian Police conducted speed checks in Wallyford, Pencaitland and Ormiston yesterday.

Speed checks were carried out yesterday

The checks were carried out in response to complaints made by members of the public regarding those speeding.

Local officers conducted the checks on Main Street in Ormiston, Lempockwells Road in Pencaitland and the A6094 at Wallyford.

As a result of the speed checks, two drivers will be reported for speeding offences to the Procurator Fiscal and four drivers were stopped and warned regarding their speed in line with road traffic legislation.
