Roads on the A1 in East Lothian will shut for five days for resurfacing works. Both the on and off slip-roads to Queen Margaret University in Musselburgh will close from Monday, March 13 to Saturday, March 18. Traffic will be redirected via the B16415, Stoneybank Terrace and Whitehill Farm Road. Diversion signs will be in place on the road for drivers.

Work on the carriageway was due to be completed in December last year, but this was delayed until March. East Lothian Council has said that the road closure will be in place for a maximum of five days.
