A road in Edinburgh’s centre is set to close temporarily for building works.

North Bridge will be closed in both directions between 11pm tomorrow (Thursday) and 6am on Friday.

According to Edinburgh Travel News, crane operations will be taking place during this time to replace telecoms equipment on some of the buildings in the area.

In a post on twitter the travel news group said: “21st - 22nd May: Crane operations to replace rooftop telecoms equipment – North Bridge will be closed in both directions between 11pm Thursday and 6am Friday.”
