Edinburgh Roadworks: here are all the closures, diversions, and delays planned for the week ahead

Here is a reminder of all the road closures and travel disruption planned for this week.

Marchmont Crescent (16 March to 20 March)

Scottish Water are drilling trial holes. There will be 2-way temporary traffic lights in place.

Lauriston Street (16 March to 27 March)

The council will be resurfacing the pavement and carriageway. There will be 2-way temporary traffic lights at Lauriston Place junction. Lauriston Gardens will be closed northbound, with no access to High Riggs.

Baileyfield Road (16 March to 20 March)

Scottish Power are managing cable connections. There will be 2-way temporary traffic lights in place.

The Wisp (16 March to 20 March)

Scottish Power are managing cable connections. There will be 2-way temporary traffic lights in place.

Cammo Walk (16 March to 27 March)

The road will be closed while utility works for the CALA/Barratt Homes development are carried out.

Burnshot Road (19 March to 3 April)

The Council will be resurfacing the carriageway. Burnshot Road will be closed between West Craigie Farm Road and the A90.

Groathill Road North (19 March to 21 March)

BT will be clearing blocked cable ducts. There will be 4-way temporary traffic lights in place.

Colinton Mains Drive (19 March to 23 March)

BT will be clearing blocked cable ducts. 2-way temporary traffic lights will be in place, and Colinton Mains Road will be closed on both sides of Colinton Mains Drive.

Longstone Road (19 March to 20 March)

The council will be repairing traffic detection loops overnight. There will be temporary traffic lights.

Strachan Road (20 March to 20 March)

Scottish Water will be repairing the carriageway. There will be no entry to Strachan Road, though the exit will remain open.

Comiston Road (21 March to 22 March)

Cityfibre is installing cable ducting. There will be 2-way temporary traffic lights, and Balcarres Street will be closed. There will be no exit from Cluny Gardens.
