Sunday’s landslip on a rail line between Edinburgh and Glasgow is still causing delays and cancellations.

National Rail announced that lines have reopened between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh but warn that as the service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

It is also possible that trains may be cancelled or revised, so travellers are advised to check their journey before setting off.

In instances where replacement rail buses are used, travellers are warned that capacity is limited due to physical distancing, so the public are asked to travel if necessary.

This comes 12 days after a landslip caused a train to crash in Aberdeenshire, killing three people.
