Evacuation at Waverley confirmed as '˜false alarm'
A partial evacuation of Edinburgh Waverley Station has been confirmed as a '˜false alarm' according to Network Rail.
No trains should be affected by the evacuation with services expected to run as planned.
The partial evacuation began as soon as the alarm was raised. It is not yet clear how many people were evacuated however it is understood a button was accidently pressed,
Network Rail have confirmed that they were aware of the nature of the incident almost immediately.
