Four-car smash on Edinburgh’s Willobrae Road

A FOUR-CAR smash blocked off Willowbrae Road for around half an hour this afternoon.

The incident, which saw one man treated for minor injuries, happened at around 3.15pm and was attended by police and ambulance crews.

A police spokesman said no one else was believed to have been injured in the crash, and it is not yet known how the incident occurred.

A Nissan Juke, Citroën Xantia, Ford Escort and Skoda Fabia were all involved.

The police spokesman said: “Police attended the scene at around 3.15pm. One man received minor injuries and the incident was blocking the road.”
