They added that “some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.”

Anybody travelling this morning should take these delays into account.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police commented: “Officers were called to Linlithgow station shortly after 7am following concern for the welfare of a man.

"Officers attended and spoke with the man, who checked out to be okay and continued his journey.
