5. Royal Mile (High Street)
At St Giles' Cathedral on the Royal Mile, Scottish Water and Business Stream are carrying out water main connection works which has led to lane, footway and parking restrictions. This will last until June 30, according to the council. At St Mary's Street and Jeffrey Street, the council is reconstructing carriageway setts which has led to road closure between Museum of Childhood at St Mary's Street (other approaches remain open) and two-way traffic on Blackfriars Street.
