Motorists warned of queues after crash on Edinburgh City Bypass

One lane has been reopened after a crash on the Edinburgh City Bypass between Lothianburn and Dreghorn.

Traffic continues to move slowly on the build up to the accident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Edinburgh were called to reports of a two vehicle crash on the A720, Edinburgh City bypass westbound near the Dreghorn junction around 10.20am on Monday, 18 May.

“There does not appear to be any injury.

“The road is partially blocked and recovery of the vehicles is ongoing.”
