Emergency services have been called to the scene.

A marked Edinburgh City Council van has been involved in a two-vehicle collision on Portobello Road this morning.

The crash occurred on Inchview Terrace on Portobello Road shortly after 9.15am.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.

It is not known whether anyone has been injured.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police received a report of a two car crash in Inchview Terrace, Edinburgh around 9.20am on Wednesday, 25 March. Emergency services attended and officers remain at the scene.”

An Edinburgh City Council spokesperson said: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in a road traffic collision earlier. As the matter is under investigation by Police Scotland, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.”
