ScotRail disruptions for trains to and from Edinburgh Waverley due to failure of power supply

The disruption to trains departing and arriving at Edinburgh Waverley has now ended, ScotRail has confirmed.

Passengers were alerted to an electricity supply failure at Yoker, Glasgow, which caused significant delays to trains running between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh.

A ScotRail spokesman has just confirmed the disruption has ended.

He said: “Disruption caused by failure of the electricity supply earlier today at Yoker has now ended. Services between Helensburgh Central – Edinburgh, and between Milngavie - Edinburgh via Airdrie and Bathgate are no longer being affected.”
