Wide-ranging changes to how people move around the city were announced by Edinburgh City Council last week, including plans to shut roads, introduce cycle lanes and widen pavements.
As part of the plans, the council released details of which streets they plan to look at first and potential time-frames for the schemes to be implemented.
The projects listed must go through a design and risk assessment process which could lead to them changing completely, the council said, but these are seen as measures “likely to be appropriate”.
