Which airlines are still flying in Scotland?

Nearly 30 air routes are still operating from Scotland despite travel restrictions.

Loganair is currently Scotland's busiest airline.

Airlines continue to fly to various UK and European destinations to transport essential workers.

Scotland’s top three busiest airports have been turned on their head, with Aberdeen currently hosting the most flights, followed by Glasgow with Edinburgh the least

Glasgow-based Loganair is operating the most services, carrying key people, medical supplies, mail and other goods to the Northern and Western Isles from Aberdeen and Glasgow.

Easyjet plans to resume some flights from Scotland on 15 June.

British Airways is flying between all three airports and Heathrow, albeit fewer than once a day on each route when it was previously up to 11 daily.

Further afield, Ryanair is continuing to link Edinburgh and Glasgow with Dublin three to four times a week.

KLM is flying daily from Edinburgh and Glasgow to its Amsterdam global hub, along with services from Aberdeen.

Air France is flying twice a week between Edinburgh and Paris.

The Scottish capital is still linked to Cologne with Eurowings, Zurich with Edeleweiss, and Budapest with Wizz, all twice a week.

Aberdeen also has Shetland and Humberside flights with Eastern Airways and Loganair flying to Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Norwich, such as for offshore workers.

Wideroe is also flying from the Scottish oil capital to Bergen and Stavanger in Norway.

Easyjet plans to resume some Scottish routes from Monday 15 June, including to Belfast and Gatwick.

Loganair will re-start Glasgow-Southampton flights the same day.

The airline will also reinstate Aberdeen-Bristol flights on Monday 8 June.

Ryanair has announced some 40 per cent of its flights will resume from 1 July onwards, when Jet2 will also start its flights again.

Airports such as Edinburgh and Glasgow have announced enhanced cleaning regimes and said passengers should bring their own face coverings.

These include self-cleaning stations for trollies in baggage halls and hand sanitiser dispensers throughout terminals.

Floor markers will prompt passengers to keep 2m apart.
