Trekkers hit new heights

VOLUNTEERS have raised almost £8000 for the city’s Sick Kids hospital.

A group of 29 climbed the UK’s highest mountain with the motivation of giving cash to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation, the charity which supports the Sciennes hospital.

Some members of the SKFF even took on the Ben Nevis ascent themselves.
