Trunks arrive at airport

THE Animals of Jungle City have been spreading out from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE), with these elephants proving the star attraction at Edinburgh Airport.

The brightly coloured creatures have been designed by artists and celebrities, and will turn the Capital into a “Jungle City” as part of a major fundraising exhibition.

More than 100 sculptures of mother and baby elephants, hornbills, crocodiles, orangutans and tigers are on display at the RBGE, ahead of being rolled out to specially selected sites across Edinburgh from September 6.

They will then be auctioned off as part of a £1 million fundraising drive to save endangered species.
