TV Hearts fan vows ‘5-1’ sign on Hollyoaks

Hearts fans watching telly last night might have noticed something a bit familiar in yesterday’s episode Hollyoaks, as Edinburgh-born actor Nick Rhys sneaked a football scarf onto the set.

The lifelong Jambo admitted on twitter that he felt “great” about getting to wear the supporters’ kit in his TV role, and promised to flash a cheeky ‘5-1’ in future.

Mr Rhys, who joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap in October, tweeted: “Can’t lie, it was great getting to wear the famous maroon @JamTarts scarf in tonight’s ep. Now to get in a 5-1 next..”

He also posted a picture of himself wearing the maroon scarf on TV. Mr Rhys’ character Lachlan is one of Hollyoaks’ bad boys, with the actor previously saying he’ll get up to “naughty things” in his storylines - something he’s already demonstrated.
