Is Facebook down? Users report major problems posting on Saturday

FACEBOOK appears to be suffering major technical problems, with users reporting being unable to post or in some cases log-in.

The issues, which began around 2.15pm, appear to be affecting both mobile and desktop versions.

The Independent reported Down Detector, a website that tracks internet outages, reported a large spike in users being unable to access Facebook at about 2pm.
