A stunning video has been sent in showing footage of the former Donaldson's College site.

The drone footage, filmed in 2016, gives stunning insight into the development of the site and the surrounding area.

Donaldson’s was designed by the eminent Edinburgh architect William Henry Playfair and was built between 1842-51. It was built as a Hospital for the instruction of children in accordance with the terms laid out in the will of James Donaldson.

The School closed in 2015 and is now being developed in to luxury accommodation.

Under current plans over 200 flats will be created, with 115 in the historic building compared with previous proposals for just 63
