Vo Van Tu: Police renew appeal for missing teen in Edinburgh last seen in the Calder Gardens area on Wednesday morning
Police have renewed their appeal to find a 17-year-old boy who went missing in west Edinburgh more than 24 hours ago.
Vo Van Tu, 17, was last seen in the Calder Gardens area at around 7.30am on Wednesday, April 21.
Police confirmed on Thursday morning that the teen has not been found and enquiries are still ongoing.
The 17-year-old is Vietnamese, around 5ft 6, slim to medium build with short dark hair.
He is believed to be wearing a red puffer jacket and dark trousers.
Police Scotland are concerned for his wellbeing due to the length of time he has been missing and his limited English.
Inspector Caroline Flynn, from Drylaw Police Station, said: “We have growing concerns for Vo Van Tu’s wellbeing, partly due to his limited English and the length of time since he was last seen.
“If you believe you have seen him in Edinburgh, or may know his whereabouts, please contact police on 101, quoting incident 2896 of 21 April.”
