Voting fears for business

Businesses want a clear yes or no from the independence referendum, Scottish CBI boss Linda Urquhart has warned.

She said companies were concerned about the damage which could result from uncertainty over the timing of the referendum.

But she added: “Business will consider it all the more important for any referendum to deliver a clear result. Independence, yes or no? No second questions which might produce an inconclusive result.”
