Warning of scam
Customers are being warned to be on their guard for scam e-mails after an Evening News reader received two claiming to be from NatWest in less than a week.
The e-mail demanded that the recipient enter their account details to avoid the account being suspended.
A spokesman for the bank said: “We would advise that customers never disclose their pin number to anyone. If a customer receives an e-mail which seems suspicious we would ask that they get in touch with the bank.”
