Warning over stolen drugs

A WARNING has been issued over fears thieves may have taken prescription drugs from a bag mistakenly left outside a pharmacy overnight.

The waste bag was left outside Boots Pharmacy in Main Street, Davidson’s Mains, on Tuesday night.

Director of public health and health policy for NHS Lothian Dr Alison McCallum said: “If anyone is offered or finds any labelled or unlabelled medicines they should hand them in immediately.”
