Fire crews in Edinburgh responded to an alarm raised at the Edinburgh Grand Hotel in Saint Andrew Square this morning.
Three fire vehicles responded to the alarm which saw around 30 guests and staff evacuated from the building just after 10:30am this morning.
One guest reported that it was a false alarm set off by a toaster on the second floor of the hotel.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it was a false alarm.
