The Celtic striker and ex-Hibs front man is not a favourite among the Hearts faithful. however, he made sure he had the last laugh, walking over to goal at the Roseburn Stand and tying a green and white scarf to the posts, much to the joy of the away section.

The ‘tying the colours to the post’ routine is not new to Griffiths with the striker pulling off a similar stunt this season following a win at Ibrox.

While Griffiths was not involved in the game, having missed out due to an injury sustained while on international duty, the Celtic number 9 still made sure he was at the centre of celebrations.

Social media was abuzz with Celtic and Hibs fans celebrating the move by Griffiths, who still attends games at Easter Road, with Hearts fans aghast by his latest stunt.

The 26-year-old has pitched in to the title winning effort from the Hoops this season with 14 goals so far.
