The west coast of Scotland has been issued with a yellow weather warning from the Met Office, with heavy rain and flooding expected.

ScotRail announced on Tuesday morning that some of their services would be disrupted due to the weather, including the routes between Inverness and Edinburgh, and Inverness and Glasgow Queen Street.

Travellers are urged to be careful when on the roads or when taking public transport.
