Edinburgh weather: Temperatures set to plummet across the Capital

The Met Office has warned that it will feel like it is freezing across Edinburgh and the Lothians as temperatures are set to plummet towards the end of the week.

Wednesday will be a bright, sunny day, with less than 5% chance of rain and although the temperature is predicted to be between 5C and 7C, the Met Office warn that it will feel like 2C.

Thursday will also be bright with little chance of rain.

It will see temperatures highs of 5C but again, the Met Office warn that it will feel like 0C.

Friday will not be as bright, and there will be a 10% chance of rain, with again highs of 5C, with it feeling like 0C.

Saturday will pick up again, though not as bright, it will have highs of 6C and feel like 2C.

There is also a warning of overnight fog towards the end of the week.
