Edinburgh weather: Unbelievable video shows skier taking to Edinburgh's Victoria Street during heavy snowfall
Locals in the Capital have been rushing out to enjoy the snow fall over the last few days as snow storms have hit the country.
A video, taken by Aye Spy Photography Scotland, shows one local grabbing their skis and tackling one of Edinburgh’s steepest street.
The scene was taken on an empty Victoria street, with the city centre almost completely free of traffic.
Social media has been awash not just with beautiful pictures of the Capital covered in snow, but videos of stuck cars and buses as well as a fantastic array of snowmen.
The Met Office has had a yellow weather warning in place for the first half of the week and will remain in place until Saturday as more snow and ice is predicted.
A statement from the Met Office said: “Daily accumulations of 2-5 cm are probable for some, with 10-15 cm plausible in areas where showers merge into more organised and prolonged spells of snow.”
