Edinburgh weather: Yellow weather warning in place for ice as morning temperatures plummet
A yellow weather warning is in place for the majority of the UK for snow and ice after temperatures plummeted to around freezing.
The Met Office warned of a risk of icy patches on roads, pavements and cycle paths, potentially leading to injuries from slips and falls.
