Edinburgh Weather: Monday’s forecast as Scotland prepare to kick off Euro 2020 campaign

Typically, it appears the recent heatwave has come to an end, and while Edinburgh will see a bright and sunny start to the day, it will be cloudy for most of the afternoon.
There will be sunny spells throughout the day, however, with a maximum temperature of 15C and fresh westerly winds.
Come early evening, the sun will reappear.

Hide AdAll across Scotland there will be cooler, fresher conditions than Sunday, when temperatures hit 25C in places.
There will be bright and sunny spells everywhere, but it will remain mostly cloudy, with the chance of some scattered showers, especially for the Northern and Western Isles, the North-west Highlands and Argyll.
There will be early evening sunshine across the country.
