As Storm Atiyah batters much of Scotland today, bringing ferocious rain and 40mph winds to Edinburgh, the city looks set to be blasted by thunder storms on Tuesday.

According to the Met Office, Edinburgh can expect heavy rain throughout Sunday, with temperatures dipping to -1C

On Tuesday, Storm Brendan is expected to bring gale force winds and heavy blustery showers to the Capital, with flood warnings in place.

Winds should ease by Thursday.
