This is when expert weather forecaster says hail will hit Edinburgh this weekend

Hail is forecast for Saturday, yet Sunday is due to be a little brighter with sunny intervals.

Hail is expected to hit the Capital as the weather starts to cool over the weekend.

After a slightly drier day on Friday, the weather is set to turn once again as temperatures cool.

From about 10am on Saturday, Edinburgh will see hail storms and most of the day will remain cloudy.

Sunday however is looking brighter with sunny intervals expected in the early morning and afternoon, and clear skies are forecast for the evening.

The bright end to the week will be welcomed after the Capital saw a grey and drizzly week.
